"A Night Under the Stars" is La Catalina Foundation’s annual fundraising event, held each year around the second weekend of February. This special evening offers a unique opportunity to bring together the local and international community in a spirit of collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to the education of the youth of La Manzanilla del Mar.
Each edition features a different theme, keeping the celebration fresh and meaningful year after year. The evening’s program includes professional artistic performances, as well as the participation of local schools, who enthusiastically prepare special presentations to share with attendees.
At the heart of the event is our silent auction, where local and international businesses generously donate goods and services. This has become our main fundraising activity, helping us sustain and expand our educational and community programs.
The ticket price includes dinner, participation in the auction, and access to all of the night’s performances. The event takes place outdoors in a beautifully arranged setting, beneath the starry sky that gives the evening its name.
"A Night Under the Stars" is made possible thanks to the collective effort of volunteers, partners, artists, schools, donors, collaborators, and of course, the students who are part of La Catalina Foundation’s community. Each year, this evening reflects the spirit of solidarity and commitment that drives our mission.
We've made the exciting decision to make a small change this year! We are canceling our online auction and including all the donated items in our Silent Auction, happening on Saturday, February 21st as part of the Night Under the Stars.

Tickets will be on sale at the Tianguis from 9:00-11:30 on the 13th and the 20th…near the flower stall. Tickets are $350p for adults and $200 for children.
Unpaid winning bids can be paid for and picked up from 9-12:00 the following week at La Catalina office.
